What is Internet Marketing?

Although it may be done in several ways, Internet Marketing (IM) is a way many people are quietly making money online. Some people do it as a hobby just to supplement their salary, others start out that way but soon realise they are making more than they thought they could and end up doing it full time, others just start with a view to it being their 'job' as they realise:

1. it is easy money
2. Often very little work is required
3. it is a great source of passive income

"Yeah, that's okay for young kids that know all about programming, what about me?"

There are so many tools available (many for free) on the internet that simplify tasks for you, that you don't really need any programming skills. As I said there are many ways to get into Internet Marketing - and I will go over several of them in future - but the majority can be done quite easily be anyone that can follow simple instructions (or pay someone else to do it) ;)

Some methods of IM are effectively free (well, nothing is ever free, you'll still need to pay for an internet connection, and own or rent a computer, etc), these are the ones that tend to require the most work by you.

Others cost money, often the more you pay the more you get (but beware, there are people that will scam you for your ignorance!), so in that sense there is much less work required on your part.
